Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how stormwaterplanning.us (the "Site") collects, uses, and shares personal information, and the choices you have. The Site is operated by HAZWOPER OSHA Training, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a subsidiary of Industrial Certified Training, LLC.
This policy covers the Site only. When you enroll, your learner account, course progress, assessments, and certificates are handled on HAZWOPER OSHA Training, LLC's learning platform under the HAZWOPER OSHA Training Privacy Policy.
Summary
- We do not sell your personal information for money.
- We use analytics and live chat for every visitor. You can turn either one off at any time.
- We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out.
- You can change your choices at any time with the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer of every page.

Information you enter at checkout is sent to HAZWOPER OSHA Training, LLC's learning platform to create your account and fulfill your order. We do not collect sensitive personal information through the Site, and we do not use personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. If you choose to tell us about a disability so we can provide an accommodation, we use that information only to provide the accommodation (see Accommodation and health information).
How we use information
- To provide training, process enrollments and payments, and issue certificates (through our learning platform).
- To communicate with you about your request, order, or account.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site, including fixing errors and preventing fraud or abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Service providers we use
We share information with service providers that help us run the Site. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

When an employer or other organization buys seats for you, it can see your enrollment status, progress, and certificate. We may also disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect our rights or others' safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Your privacy choices
Analytics and live chat are on by default. You can turn either one off for your browser at any time, and turn it back on later:
Opt-out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information for money. Some state laws may treat analytics tools as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. To opt out, open Your Privacy Choices and choose "Turn all off," or uncheck analytics and save. Your choice is stored in your browser, so repeat it on each browser or device you use, or email or call us to opt out.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing, and analytics stay off for that browser. Browsers' older "Do Not Track" setting has no agreed standard, so we rely on GPC instead.
Google Analytics on the Site runs with Google signals and ad-personalization features turned off, and we do not use the Site's data for targeted advertising.
Your privacy rights
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia have rights under their state privacy laws, and we extend the same rights to every U.S. visitor. You may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and disclose it, and get a copy of it.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising.
- Get a list of the specific third parties we have disclosed personal information to, where state law provides that right.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
How to make a request: email info@hazwoper-osha.com with the subject "Privacy request," or call 1-866-429-6742. We will verify your request by matching information you give us with information we hold, and we respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days). You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of the agent's authority and verify your identity directly. Some records, such as completed training records and certificates that must stay verifiable, or transaction records required by tax law, may be kept even after a deletion request; if so, we will tell you why.
Appeals: if we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with the subject "Privacy appeal." We will respond in writing within the time your state's law requires. If the appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
California "Shine the Light." We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
Accommodation and health information
We do not seek to collect consumer health data, as defined by laws such as Washington's My Health My Data Act. If you choose to tell us about a disability so we can provide an accommodation, we use that information only to provide the accommodation, share it only with staff and service providers who need it for that purpose, never sell it, and delete it on request.
Children
The Site and our courses are intended for adults in the workforce. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including providing training records and certificates, meeting tax, accounting, and legal requirements, and resolving disputes. Analytics and chat providers keep data according to their own retention settings.
Security
The Site is served only over HTTPS, and payments are handled by a PCI DSS-compliant processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
