Certificates
Certificate Policy
When your certificate of completion is issued, how long it's valid, what it documents, and how to verify or replace it.
Issuance
A certificate of completion is issued immediately upon successfully passing the final exam for the applicable course. No separate processing wait is required for the standard digital certificate.
Certificate Validity Periods
- Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) Training certificate, valid 24 months
- SWPPP Preparer Training certificate, valid 36 months
What a Certificate Documents
A stormwaterplanning.us certificate documents completion of training content only. It is not a government-issued license, EPA certification, NPDES certification, or California QSP/QSD certification. See Credential Transparency for a full explanation of what a certificate does and doesn't mean, and how it compares to federal and California-specific qualifications.
How to Verify a Certificate
Employers, contractors, and project owners can verify a certificate through HAZWOPER OSHA Training, LLC. See Verify a Certificate for what information you'll need and how verification is routed.
Requesting a Reissue or Replacement
If you need a replacement copy of a previously issued certificate, contact HAZWOPER OSHA Training support at info@hazwoper-osha.com or 1-866-429-6742 with your name and the course completed.
See also our Refund Policy for how completed courses and issued certificates affect refund eligibility.
